Today we had a special visit to the Center for Game Science and Baker Lab here at the University of Washington from Foldit player and #2 ranked global soloist gmn! We had a great time swapping stories and talking shop.

Science Expo Day 2013

expodayScience EXPO Day is a festive, one-day event at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center featuring over 150 booths, activities, demonstrations, and performances that celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We were proud to represent UW’s College of Engineering at the event! A big thank you to those of you who came out to see us!

Engineering Discovery Days 2013

We had a great time presenting at Engineering Discovery Days this year. A big thank you to all the teachers, students, friends, and family that came out to see us and demo our games!

This year’s event brought over 9,000 guests to campus to participate in engineering innovation and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of it. Enjoy some of our favorite shots from the day!

Foldit wins honorable mention at IGF 2013

IGF-2013Foldit received an honorable mention in the category of Technical Excellence at the 15th annual IGF Awards which recognizes outstanding independent game titles. We are honored to have been considered alongside titles such as StarForge (CodeHatch), Perspective (DigiPen Widdershins), Little Inferno (Tomorrow Corporation), Intrusion 2 (Aleksey Abramenko), and LiquidSketch (Tobias Neukom).
